Tucked along a scenic bend of the Tatai River in western Cambodia, Canvas & Orchids Retreat is a boutique eco-lodge offering a unique glamping experience. With eight floating tents and five island tents, the retreat combines luxury and sustainability. Each tent features en-suite bathrooms, locally crafted furniture, and modern comforts like TV, minibar, and in-room safe. Floating tents suit couples or small groups, while two-bedroom island tents are ideal for families. Designed with minimal environmental impact, the retreat supports and employs members of the local community.

Island Family Tent
Fine sand, coconut trees and palm plants (endemic to this island) surround the family tents. They are only 15-20 steps away from the bank and have a river view.
All tents have two bedrooms, a brick-and-mortar bathroom shared by the family, a private balcony with sunbeds, and outdoor seating/chairs.
The main room has queen-sized or twin beds, with bedside lamps and a comfy sofa (0.7m x 2m). Twin beds equip the children’s room.
Island Double Tent

Floating Tented Villa
With the coconut-tree plantation, bamboo clumps and other trees and plants endemic to this island in the background, your tent is facing the Tatai River and The Cardamom Rainforest.
The river is a meter or two deep (depending on tides), and safe to swim in. You can take a dip right from the balcony of your tent.
The 90 sqm deck includes a terrace with sunbeds and outdoor seating chairs. Your tent is equipped with a queen-sized bed or twin beds, with bedside lamps, and a comfy sofa (0.70m x 2m).
