About Portugal Travel Team
Portugal Travel Team is a full-service Destination Management Company with offices in Lisbon and Faro, Algarve. In 1996 Eduarda Neves, Owner and Founder of Portugal Travel Team, decided it was time to create a DMC focused on two segments of the Industry she had developed over many years working in tourism – MICE and Luxury FIT Programs. And so, Portugal Travel Team was founded and started operations throughout the country, supporting clients from so many different markets who wished to bring their clients to Portugal for either their Conferences, Incentives and Product Launches, or tailor-made luxury itineraries for Individual clients with their friends and families.
- Over the years, they have been working to improve and strengthen the structure of the company, they have a certified Management System according to the ISO 9001:2015 Norm, and grow with the evaluation of their performance by the clients and suppliers in equal measure. Every year, they are also rated for Credit and Financial performance and are running a regular training program for all team members. Moreover, all their programmes and events are insured up to 2 million Euros per event.
- All this is very important as it can give you and your client peace of mind, but it is not all, something else is very important – their team! The team is hugely responsible for their success, and why? Because they enjoy working in this environment, creating fabulous programmes by constantly looking for new activities, trying new restaurants, designing new and exciting experiences and operating all of them flawlessly, on top of all the details.
- Some of their team members have been with the company since it started, some are young and have a ‘millennial’ approach to tourism, some were trained official Tour Guides, all have a university level of studies in Tourism and Hospitality. This is a great mix, different personalities and interests enrich their offer to their very discerning clients. All their tailor-made programmes have been greatly appreciated and they continue to stay focussed on producing new and exquisite itineraries and experiences.
